In Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at enhancing tourism and investment in Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted the Vedic clock in Ujjain, praised Bhopal as a burgeoning tourism hub, and expressed the state's commitment to leverage its tourism potential during his address at the Indian Association of Tour Operators' 39th annual conference. Yadav commended India's progress across sectors, including tourism. Mentioning tigers frequently sighted in the region, he emphasized Bhopal's growth as a dynamic tourist destination. Furthermore, Yadav lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for showcasing India's standing internationally by traveling from Poland to Ukraine by train.

During the conference, the IATO manual was unveiled, and a film on IATO was screened. The late M L Rajdan of Rajdan Holidays was posthumously conferred the Hall of Fame Award by IATO, accepted by his daughter-in-law, Anita Rajdan. Puneet Chhatwal, MD and CEO of Indian Hotel Company Limited, was also honored with the Hall of Fame award.

Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture Sheo Shekhar Shukla expressed optimism that the IATO Madhya Pradesh Convention would establish a new standard for future conventions. He encouraged IATO delegates to discover the state's historical heritage, vibrant culture, and natural beauty, urging them to promote Madhya Pradesh as a top tourist destination for both domestic and international tourists. The convention also featured a captivating cultural presentation titled "Enchanting Madhya Pradesh: The Heartland of India," organized by the Madhya Pradesh Government, Culture Department, and directed by Maitreyi Pahar.The state's rich history and stunning natural beauty were highlighted in the presentation, featuring a 40-minute dance performance by 53 artists. Kailash Sisodia and his group from Dhar also performed the traditional Bhagoria dance of the Bhil tribe, charming the audience of tour operators from all over the country.
